This is “Tarantulas with Shanti” and in this video there is a great explanation of the binomial nomenclature for Centuroides vittatus (Striped Bark Scorpion). Here’s what she says in her description

“Dedicated to Anna & Lane who cared for this stowaway scorpion and found it a home (with me) after it had travelled from Texas to Washington state in a box of plumbing supplies. This is the story of a vagabond Centruroides vittatus, the striped bark scorpion, a species common to several states in the Southern U.S.A. and in Northern Mexico”
